Halloween

We had a pretty low key Halloween. Wes didn't have school on Friday, but Bill did so I got the boys all dressed in their costumes and took them down to Bill's school so they could be in the costume parade with all the other kids. It was so cute. You would have thought they were celebrities walking the red carpet. They waved and gave high fives and big smiles to each person they passed.

After lunch and "naps" (there was no sleeping involved in nap time with all the excitement of guaranteed candy later), we had a quick dinner from Salad Farm (excellent choice!) and headed to LBF for the annual Harvest Festival. The boys had so much fun playing with friends, rockin' the bounce houses, and loading up on a LOT of candy! It was fun to visit with friends while the kids played and wore themselves out.

Wes loves the reptile room every year.

Wyatt playing ring "toss". They handed him the rings, he walked up and put all of them over the post and said, "This is FUN!"

A quick Grandpa update. I am typing this from his bedside. He is on oxygen and morphine to make him more comfortable. It is growing increasingly difficult for him to breathe. He is hallucinating a lot, which is normal for this stage, seeing deceased family members and imagining he is very involved in different activities. I found him with his left leg mostly out of bed this morning and when I tried to lift it back into bed he told me he needed to get up and put his shoes on.:) Thank you so much for all the love and support you're passing along. It means more than you could possibly know.
