Wes is the Star of the Week this week! It means that he gets all sorts of privileges in class. We got to fill up a nifty poster with all sorts of interesting things about Wes. The song that he listed as his favorite song is "May the Lord Bless You." It is a song we sing every night and the lyrics go like this:

As you keep your eyes on Him.
It was on a lullaby CD he got as a baby. Anyway, his teacher asked what his favorite song was. He said, "It's May the Lord bless you. I am going to sing it to my class." And he did. Without permission or apology, he sang every word of blessing over his little class. He truly shone like a star! I pray that will continue to be a light to his peers. That's why we chose public school.

Seriously, he and Theo are kindred spirits in quite a few things. So awesome...and shows that he's really processing the stuff you are surrounding him with.
