New York: Day 2

On the second day (Saturday), we went to the Empire State Building first thing. It is unbelievable! Most of these shots are the view of the city from 82 stories up the Empire State Building. After a sky-high view of NY, we rode down to Little Italy for some authentic pizza. YUM! Puglia's was recommended by Anthony (concierge) whose "cousin's father owns the joint" and where "we couldn't go wrong". He was right! We walked through Chinatown where I got my "Coach" purse. It was such a shady operation that it warrants its own post. I'll write about it sometime when blogworthy material is lacking. Last of all, we headed down to Battery Park to try to catch a late afternoon ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. Unfortunately, it was 5:00 pm and the last ferry leaves at 4:30. We were surprised at how far away Lady Liberty sits from the shores of Manhattan. Oh well, maybe next trip. Kyle and Deanne caught a last minute show while Bill and I went to dinner with his cousin and aunt. It was a really nice evening and good fun was had by all.
