We love Disneyland. It is such a fun place to be able to go hang out and play with our kids. There are families who save their money for years to go on a Disney vacation while we can zip down on any given afternoon. When our passes expired last October, Wes was SO sad. This was the conversation almost daily in our house for a while. "Hey! Let's go to Disneyland!" "We can't, buddy. We don't have tickets anymore." "WE DO!! WE DO!!" (yelled in a panicky almost crying voice). "They are too old. We can't use them anymore." At this point, the tears can no longer be contained. "We should get a new ticket. I want to go to Pooh Bear's house and Monster's Inc.!" More tears, more blubbering, more pathetic explanations and attempts at logic in a conversation that is not about logic at all. In the mind of a 3-year-old, there is no logical explanation that will satisfy. I became the master of distraction to avoid this dialogue. Well, Grandma and Grandpa can always sympathize with the heartaches of their grandkids. Thanks for the new Disney passes, Mom and Dad! Wes thanks you for all the opportunities to go see his Disney friends, Bill thanks you for perpetuating some of his favorite childhood memories, and I thank you for sparing me further brain strain of trying to explain our Disney hiatus to a sobbing preschooler!

He has been following the Colts more closely since my parents moved to Indy. All our gear is thanks to my folks. We all have at least one shirt and the boys each have outfits. We're cheering for the Colts in the Super Bowl though.
