This picture was taken at Jesse and Jo's wedding last June (2004). This past June, Wes and Grandma Shirley got to bond again in the hospital as Grandma dealt with her heart trouble. He wasn't afraid of the tubes, machines, or equipment. In fact, he even enjoyed a few bites of hospital food on Grandma's bed! Every night when he prays, he remembers to say "God Bess Gamma Shooty too!" (yes, family, it has evolved from the more obscene names to "shooty" now).
